Press Release from the Houston GLBT Political Caucus PAC on its Endorsement of Melissa Noriega

HOUSTON, TEXAS - The Houston GLBT Political Caucus held its PAC endorsement meeting on Wednesday, March 7. We are proud to announce our endorsement of Melissa Noriega for At-Large, Position 3, in the May 12th special election for City Council.

"We had excellent candidates vying for our endorsement. It was a very difficult choice, but we believe we have made the right choice in endorsing someone who will defend us and work towards our eventual full equality in this city. We are proud of our endorsement of Melissa Noriega," said Jenifer Pool, president of the Caucus.

"This is an excellent choice even though it was difficult. Melissa is a friend to our community, has a winning campaign strategy, and holds our political values. I look forward to working with her campaign this spring," said Maria C. Gonzalez, vice president of the Caucus.

The HGLBTPC meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. The monthly general meetings are at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 1805 W. Alabama.
